About

Carey Baptist Church is in the beautiful village of Hackleton in Northamptonshire, England. The Church is in the centre of the village on the main A428 about 5 miles from Northampton.

There has been a Church here for over 200 years and the present building was built in the 1800’s

The well known 19th Century Missionary, William Carey lived in the village and preached his first ever sermon here.

Today we are a small but thriving family of Christian believers of all ages. The Church is modern in worship and there is a strong emphasis on relationships. Both with each other and with God through His son Jesus Christ.

We are a welcoming group of people and the Church is at the centre of our lives. Our members come from Hackleton, other surrounding villages and nearby Northampton. Yet we see our mission to bring the love of Christ to the people of the village and to be an integral part of the community.
